After Care
Caring for your new wrap is simple but important if you want to keep it looking its best. We recommend hand washing only, using a product specifically designed for protective films such as Americana Global PPF & Vinyl Wash. This formula gently removes dirt and grime without stripping gloss or harming the surface. After washing, dry your vehicle with a clean microfiber towel to prevent water spots and streaks. For maintaining that freshly detailed look between washes, use Americana Global Detail Spray — it’s safe for wraps, adds slickness, and enhances shine while removing light dust or fingerprints. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive sponges, and automatic car washes with brushes, as they can damage the film. Whenever possible, park in shaded areas and remove contaminants like bug splatter, sap, or bird droppings quickly to prevent staining. With proper care and the right products, your wrap will stay vibrant, glossy, and protected for years to come.

To keep your new wrap looking its best, regular care and maintenance are key. Always start with gentle cleaning products made for wraps and protective films.
Washing:
Use a wash specifically formulated for PPF and vinyl wraps — I personally recommend Americana Global PPF & Vinyl Wash. It safely removes dirt, grime, and road film without harming the finish or reducing gloss. Avoid harsh detergents or automatic car washes with brushes, as these can cause premature wear.
Drying:
After washing, use a soft microfiber towel to dry the surface. Don’t let water spots sit on the film for long periods, especially under direct sunlight.
Detailing:
For quick clean-ups or added shine, I recommend Americana Global Detail Spray. It’s safe for all wrap types and enhances the slick, smooth feel while adding a layer of protection against dust and contaminants.
Extra Tips:
Wash your vehicle regularly, ideally once a week.
Avoid waxes or sealants not designed for wraps.
Keep your vehicle out of direct sunlight for extended periods when possible.
Immediately remove bird droppings, sap, or bug residue to prevent staining.
By following these steps, you’ll maintain your wrap’s deep color, gloss, and protection for years to come.
